HOW DELOITTE DEPLOYED POWER-USER TO BOOST PRODUCTIVITY AND BRAND CONSISTENCY
CONTEXT
Deloitte is one of the leading business services providers, specializing in audit, tax, consulting and risk management.
Founded in 1845, Deloitte operates in over 150 countries, offering innovative solutions to help businesses face complex challenges and improve their performance.
In 2020, Deloitte Central Europe - the regional organization of 19 countries in central end eastern Europe - launched a project to explore possible solutions to improve the efficiency of their teams to create business presentations on PowerPoint.
After months of evaluating and testing multiple tools on the market, Power-user was selected as the best option, bringing a versatile solution that could bring productivity to different service lines with various needs.
HOW POWER-USER WAS IMPLEMENTED
COMPETITIVE BENCHMARK & PILOT PHASE WITH POWER-USER
In the beginning of the project, the teams from Deloitte Central Europe tested multiple solutions on the market.
A pilot was started giving access to Power-user for a few volunteers. During the pilot phase:

Users received initial training to discover the tool's capabilities

They were supported by a clearly identified account manager, overseeing any request coming from the company

The teams from Power-user and Deloitte worked together to integrate the company's branding and many assets.
Users quickly adopted the tool, and recommended it to colleagues. Before the testing was even over, word-of-mouth had already spread from the base and over 150 Deloitte users had adopted it, all voluntarily.
Their enthusiastic feedback was confirmed by surveying all pilot participants. The ease-of-use and wide range of functionalities were cited among the key strengths of Power-user.
ROLLING OUT BRANDED VISUAL CONTENT
The first step towards customizing Power-user consisted in applying the Deloitte's template, its colors, fonts and other design guidelines to all the content from the Power-user Library.
With close to 500,000 employees globally, Deloitte has also built tons of highy reusable assets, designed to empower their teams with inspiration and tools to communicate effectively with their client.
So we worked with the project team from Deloitte to identify and integrate all key corporate templates, proprietary icons and brand pictures in the Power-user Library, rolling out all these key assets directly in Microsoft 365 for thousands of users.
With several teams across different geographies, we also worked on business proposal automation by setting up Tombstones (showing client credentials) or galleries of CVs in the Library. This helps Deloitte proposal teams save time and deliver high-quality business proposals.
CONTINUOUS, HAND-TO-HAND SUPPORT
Deloitte didn't just adopt a product: they chose a partner. Years after adoption, they still benefit from continuous collaboration and support with a dedicated account manager from Power-user.
We continuously monitor adoption and usage, organize training sessions for the users, and discuss new functionalities as well as user feedback and features requests.
INTEGRATION WITH IT PROCESSES
In collaboration with local IT, we implemented a process for Deloitte employees to easily request a license through ServiceNow, and after approval, automatically trigger a workflow installing the software on the user machine.
This automation limits the need for IT interventions and tickets to a minimum, while also improving the user experience.
